Dinner banquet was hosted by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for guests of the cultural capital of the Islamic world-Mashhad 2017

According to the news headquarters of Islamic cultural capital-Mashhad 2017, Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri expressed in this ceremony: given the great need of the Islamic countries for unity and solidarity, the most important function of cultural capitals of the Islamic world is to create integration and empathy.

President of the Policy Council of the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World also added: the second goal of this selection is to create compatibility through dialogue and prevent aimless conflict.

According to Salehi Amiri, Mashhad, the inspiring source of distinctiveness/individuality, can be the center of many international actions. He marked: the main cause of global conflicts in the past century has been the lack of cultural understanding. In this meeting, we came to the conclusion that the best way to solve the problems of today is creating a discursive environment.

Salehi Amiri emphasized the fact that Iran has never sought cultural simulation. He also marked: the root problems of many societies in the world is that some of the governments are looking for cultural assimilation.

He added: cultural dialogue could lead to the expansion of culture, which can provide the foundation for economic, cultural and political relationships.

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance asserted: cultural dialogue plays an essential role in our social and political interactions.

 

During this dinner banquet, Alireza Rashidian, the Governor of Khorasan Razavi, also gave a short speech in the presence of the guests.

It is noteworthy that special programs were performed on this night, including Shahnameh reading.
