The seventh course of international instructional course for
increasing the knowledge of educated Muslim women was initiated in the presence
of women from various Islamic countries on Wednesday, along with the
inauguration of the cultural capital of the Islamic world-Mashhad 2017 event.
According to the news headquarters of Islamic cultural capital-Mashhad 2017, Director of Women's Affairs of Khorasan Razavi mentioned the participation of women from five Islamic countries in this event in a meeting for the inauguration of this course, stating: more than 20 sophisticated women from Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Algeria and Oman participated in this course.
Fereshteh Saljooghi also expressed: these courses are held every year with a focus on language regardless of geographic location of countries, attended by Spanish-, Russian-, French-, Arabic- or Dari-speaking countries.
She added: this is a great opportunity for women from various countries with different languages and cultures to learn about the culture of Iranian women, as well as the capacity of Iran and other countries.
According to Saljooghi, holding such courses help familiarize women, especially Muslim, with their rights as a woman and a good opportunity to exchange opinions, ideas and thoughts.
Other subjects covered in this course are fighting against extremist ideas about women, takfiri deviant sects, such as ISIS, and the role of women in this fight against terrorists and securing the family against these attitudes.
According to Saljooghi, previous courses were held in Tehran, adding: the seventh international instructional course for increasing the knowledge of educated Muslim women is held for the first time in Mashhad due to the selection of this city as the cultural capital of the Islamic world. We hope that the effects of holding this course near the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza be more prominent than ever.
She also expressed: related workshops will be held during one week in morning and evening by eminent professors in the form of questions and answers.
